This new makers market has recently launched at the James Wilson Cafe (soon to be renamed, and redecorated, The Hub) is featuring a selection of local handmade created work and a few of the Rock Paper Scissors London Collective will be there as well (including me!).
This market is a fab way for newbies selling their work – it is really hard to get started and the Rock Paper Scissors Collective have great skills but we are teaching each other the art of selling/promoting our work – If you are starting out I recommend Makerhood – they are spreading to other areas and the information/meet ups are fantastic so please check them out!
Here’s a note from Sue:
Tulse Hill Makers Market, will be in session tomorrow – 2nd May 2015 – between 11am and 4pm.
The Coffee shop can provide you with good coffee and endless drinks, whilst we stimulate your creative side, by showing you our handmade items such as Contemporary pottery, Jewellery, Amazing Knits, Handmade bags and Childrens clothes, Amazing Photography and Cat in Pantz and more……So…..
Why not join us?
Porkies Bakehouse will be there supplying some righteous and #stonking organic veg or meatilicious food.
Check us out in the Lambeth Weekender, and find out our story.
We look forward to meeting you there.
Have a great day and an even better tomorrow!
It would be lovely to see people coming in to have a look at our work (and buy too ;-)) so come and cheer us on in this local community space with lots on!
The Makers Market has been mentioned in the Lambeth Weekender – page 4 (free to read, just enter an email address – they promise not to send you anything!)
